You can have a good night out around Dominical and Uvita without turning it into a late-night mission. Pick somewhere to eat, find out who's playing and sort out the ride home. The rest can stay fairly relaxed.
For a dependable weekly starting point, Fuego has Latin night with live music and dancing every Friday from 7–10pm. Beyond that, the best evening depends on the week's lineup and whether you're hoping to dance or mostly listen over dinner.
Fuego: Friday Latin night, 7–10pm
Put Fuego Brewing on the list if you want music and dancing in Dominical. You can arrive for dinner and stay for the music, or make the 7–10pm Latin night the main plan.
You don't have to drink alcohol to enjoy an evening built around a band and a dance floor. If you're going with a group, decide whether you're meeting for food or arriving when the music starts so nobody spends the first hour looking for everyone else.
The Fuego events page is a useful starting point for special announcements. Flow confirmed the recurring Friday hours in October 2026.
La Junta: dinner with live music in Dominical
La Junta combines a restaurant setting with live music, making it an option when dinner is as much a part of the evening as the performance. Its menu includes several dietary options, so it can be useful for a group with different food preferences.
Look at the venue's current information and choose a music night that fits your dates. Give dinner enough time rather than planning to order, eat and leave between two other stops.
Tortilla Flats and Río Lindo: two more Dominical options
Tortilla Flats and Río Lindo belong on your list when you're checking what's happening in town. Tortilla Flats' official page is the place to look for its current announcements.
Río Lindo's restaurant and bar are part of the hotel by the estuary, with a poolside setting. It lists live music among its offerings, which makes it another option for an evening centered on food, conversation and a performance. Check the venue's updates for the night you want to visit.
Whale Tail Brewery: Friday live music in Uvita
Whale Tail's brewpub lists live music on Fridays. Its weekly program also includes Wednesday trivia at 7pm, useful if your version of a night out involves remembering an obscure answer before the table beside you does.
Use the official weekly experiences page to check the program. Friday's performer and music start time belong in the current announcement, so don't borrow Fuego's hours for this venue.
Uvita Gastro Park and The Fisticuff Pub
Uvita Gastro Park is a separate place from Whale Tail. It brings several food options together with The Fisticuff Pub, which makes it worth checking when your group wants different meals and a shared place to spend the evening.
The park lists live music among its features. Its official page has event updates, while the venue menu page helps you see the setup before you go.

Leave the ride home out of the guesswork
Arrange transport before you settle in for the evening, especially if your accommodation is up a hillside road. A place that looks close on a map may not be a comfortable walk after dark.
Choose one main venue and let the evening happen there. If you have surf coaching the next morning, a good dinner and a few hours of music can leave you with plenty of energy to enjoy both.
